We are honoured that the WGMA has chosen KHC Dragons to host the Grand Masters Hockey European Cup in 2019.

The World Grand Masters Association was founded in 2002 as an answer to the rapidly growing popularity of hockey for Grand Masters (players aged 60+).  It is an international organisation, whose members take part in international tournaments for hockey players aged 60 and older.  The organisation is responsible for Grand Masters Hockey worldwide, and is recognised as such by the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

From 19 – 29 June 2019, 73 international teams will be competing in different age categories for the coveted WGMA European Cup. More than 1250 hockey players will be descending on Brasschaat and Antwerp with their entourages to play hockey, but also to enjoy all that Antwerp and Belgium have to offer in terms of culture, food and recreation.

The organizing committee of the Grand Masters Hockey European Cup 2019 is already looking forward to a truly unique 10-day tournament in Brasschaat !!
