TRAVEL BY CAR

KHC Dragons can easily be reached by car, and there are plenty of free parking spaces near the club. Through various Route Planners such as Google Maps, Waze, Mappy, etc. the shortest and fastest routes from your location in Antwerp to the club can be calculated.

IMPORTANT: If travelling with your own vehicle (passenger car, mini-van, bus), please be aware that a Low Emission Zone is enforced in the centre of Antwerp. Read:  https://www.slimnaarantwerpen.be/en/LEZ

ALL VEHICLES WITH FOREIGN LICENSE PLATES HAVE TO BE REGISTERED ONCE, PRIOR TO ENTERING THE LOW EMISSION ZONE. (Even if your vehicle meets the required emission standards!!):

Please note that also Brussels enforces a Low Emission Zone in its city centre.

PARKING

As in every major European city, parking facilities for passenger cars, mini-vans and buses are limited and, in most cases, come at a cost (between € 20 and €24 per day). Week passes can also be purchased and are cheaper.  Always check with your hotel first regarding car parking. There are a few free car parks on the edge of town. Parking at a Park & Ride facility, in combination with the use of Public Transportation, is generally free of charge.
The following link will provide you with detailed information on the majority of public parkings in the Antwerp region:  Parking in Antwerp

BUS & TRAM

De Lijn is the Flemish local public transport service.  They operate busses and trams. A single ticket costs € 3 for 60 minutes within which you can make unlimited changes. After 60 minutes you can complete your journey, but can no longer change.  A Lijn Card (10 rides) is valid on all buses and trams of De Lijn and is far cheaper (€ 1,6).  If you travel as a group of 10 to 44 people then it's best to purchase a group ticket (€ 1,3).

RENTAL (MINI VAN)

In Antwerp and at Brussels Airport, vehicles can be rented. Please bear in mind that June is already touristic high season, causing limited availability of rental vehicles.
We therefore strongly advice to book your rental vehicle well in advance. This will avoid unpleasant surprises.
Below some price indications for the rental of mini-vans. Final prices will be confirmed by the rental company at the time of reservation.

BUS HIRE

Not only is June already touristic high season, it is also the school excursion month of the year. As a consequence, bus hire will be extremely difficult.
Our Transport Liaison will do his absolute utmost to accommodate concrete bus hire requests, but even today, it is already unlikely to find buses.
